Zapador

Goal

Survive twelve campaign months and score as much Solidarity as you can. Everyone gets the same daily event calendar (UTC)—beat your personal best before the day turns over. Two actions per month, then maintenance and the month’s event.

Setup

• Start with 5 Supply, 5 Cash, and two sectors: Madrid and Barcelona.
• One cadre is placed in Madrid automatically—it always wards February’s event so you can plan ahead.
• January is always Respite; July is always Foreign Aid Shipment. Other months are drawn from the crisis deck (no crisis twice in a row).

Each Month

1. Take two actions (any combination):
   • Secure a Sector — Cost: 5 Cash for your 3rd sector; 6 for the 4th; 7 for the 5th. Each Sapper −2 (stacks).
   • Gather Supply — 3 Supply × the sum of each Quartermaster’s multiplier (2 each, or 3 if next to a Politician). With none on the board, ×1 (3 Supply).
   • Gain Cash — 3 Cash × the sum of each Diplomat’s multiplier (2 each, or 3 if next to a Politician). With none on the board, ×1 (3 Cash).
   • Recruit a Cadre — Cost: 3 Cash (months 1–4), 4 (5–8), 5 (9–12). Pick 1 of 3 offered cadres and assign to any sector (replaces an existing cadre there).
2. After your actions, maintenance: each cadre costs 1 Supply. If you can’t pay, cadres are lost at random.
3. Then the month’s event occurs. Having any matching cadre on your sectors wards that crisis.

Cadres

• Quartermaster — Supply multiplier +2 (+3 if next to Politician); wards Supply Blockade
• Diplomat — Cash multiplier +2 (+3 if next to Politician); wards International Embargo
• Sapper — −2 Sector cost each (stacks); wards Aerial Bombing
• Militiaman — Wards Major Frontal Offensive
• Commissar — +1 Solidarity at year’s end per Commissar; wards Internal Purge
• Politician — Adjacent Quartermaster/Diplomat use a 3× multiplier instead of 2×

Sector order (Madrid → Barcelona → …) matters for Politician adjacency.

Events

• Supply Blockade — Lose half Supply (round up) unless any Quartermaster
• International Embargo — Lose half Cash (round up) unless any Diplomat
• Major Frontal Offensive — Lose your newest sector unless any Militiaman
• Aerial Bombing — One random sector destroyed unless any Sapper
• Internal Purge — Lose all cadres unless any Commissar
• Respite — No effect (January)
• Foreign Aid Shipment — +4 Supply and +4 Cash (July)

Solidarity

• Sectors: 1 / 3 / 6 / 10 / 15 for 1–5
• Cadres: 3 each
• Resources: (Supply + Cash + |Supply − Cash|) ÷ 2 (round down)
• Cadre variety: 1 / 2 / 4 / 7 / 10 / 15 for 1–6 different types
• Commissar: +1 per Commissar at year’s end
• Full set of 5 sectors: +8
